How to apply for a job
Peel District School Board is the largest employer in Peel region—with more than 11,000 permanent staff and thousands more part-time and casual employees. We often receive hundreds of resumes for a single position.
For this reason, and because of the limited number of administrative and support staff we have to process these applications, we can not accept unsolicited resumes or applications—in other words, we only accept applications for positions we are currently advertising.
For the same reasons, we regret that we can't respond to every application. We certainly do appreciate the interest of every person who applies to work with us, but we can only contact people whom we are inviting to an interview.
Unfortunately, we can't keep resumes on file after the interviewing process is completed. So, if you apply for a position with the board and are not successful, you have to send us your resume again the next time we advertise for that position.

Commitment to equity
Peel District School Board is committed to equity in employment. We take pride in our fair hiring practices. The board will make any necessary accommodation to assist a person with disabilities in applying for a position. If you are contacted for an interview and require accommodations due to a disability, please inform the person setting up the interview.
