SharePoint Developer
POSITION:
We are seeking a SharePoint Developer for our Learning Technology Support Services department. This is a contract position until August 31, 2012.
Reporting to the Portal and Collaboration Team Leader, the successful applicant will be responsible for developing custom SharePoint 2007 solutions including: workflows, web parts, features and custom templates. Working in conjunction with the SharePoint team, the successful applicant's responsibilities will be: working with key stakeholders to distil business requirements into technical functional requirements for the Internet / Intranet; arranging and performing testing on custom developed components; planning, developing, and implementing approved changes; attending all relevant meetings; other related duties and special projects as required by the Team Leader – Portal and Collaboration System Analyst.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post secondary degree in Information Technology or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Competent with SDLC and test methodologies

Extensive working knowledge and experience developing in C# using Visual Studio.

Experience developing and working with web services and web applications.
- Experience developing in SharePoint creating custom web parts, workflow, and features.

Experience and understanding of XML, XSLT, XSD, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSL, Jquery, CSS and master pages.

Excellent communication skills to deal effectively with board personnel and technical staff.

Well organized self-starter with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills.
Duties are to commence as soon as possible.
Salary: C4-1 (Min $62,164 - Max $73,812 per annum)
