2000 Student Model United Nations March 3, 2000
The Peel District School Board's 2000 Student Model United Nations brought together approximately 200 students.
This event was more than a simulated general assembly. It was an opportunity for students to sharpen research and debating skills, increase awareness of other countries and gain an understanding of the complex nature of international decision making. This year's event focussed on the use of child soldiers.
