It's time for children born in 2008 to register for kindergarten
February 6, 8, 9 & 10
If your child was born in 2008, he or she can start kindergarten in September 2012. Registration will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 6, 8, 9 & 10 and 5 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 9.
Parents should register their child at the school he or she will attend. Call 905-890-1010 ext. 2212 to find out which school your child will attend. Families new to Canada can make an appointment to register children for school at the We Welcome the World Centre by calling 905-366-8791.

Starting school is a big step for your child and your whole family. But it's made easier when you have all the information you need:
- everything you need to know about registering your child for kindergarten
- a parent fact sheet about the dual-age kindergarten program
- look for these books about starting school
- a booklet entitled Welcome to kindergarten you can use with your child to prepare for starting school (you will receive a printed version of this booklet when you register your child for school)
- learn about full-day kindergarten
