How to register
Drop in for every session. All are encouraged to come on time but there is definite flexibility for late arrivals and early dismissals.

What you need

  • everyone, including caregivers, must wear indoor shoes during the winter months, which may be kept at the centre
  • stroller storage is by the cubbies
  • bring snacks without nuts
  • we have a large selection of books, videos, DVD’s, magazines and other materials for both parents and children, which can be signed out

Special Days

Tuesday Baby Sing and Play (program especially for infants up to 1.5 years) Note: morning only

Wednesday Workshops, facilitated by readiness staff and community reps. Parents are invited to attend a workshop on topics such as nutrition, child safety, school readiness, literacy, dental health etc. (every other Wednesday)

Thursday Reading Buddies (students from the junior grades come to read/play with our little ones.)

Thursdays Science day, the children will perform science experiments

Friday A healthy snack is always provided. Every other Friday we have a What’s Cooking event where the children cook and we send parents off with a recipe. On Friday's we all attend the weekly school assembly.

Library visits to our school library occur about once every two weeks. The school librarian will read us a story and children/parents have an opportunity for quiet reading time.
