Readiness centres help prepare children for school by providing an informal and welcoming learning environment for parents and caregivers with children from birth to 4 years of age. Readiness Centre's provide an opportunity for parents and children to learn literacy, numeracy and social skills through a variety of activities.
Each readiness centre is staffed by a teacher and teaching assistants.
While all Centres provide caregivers and their children with a stimulating learning environment, each centre boasts unique qualities reflective of the community in which it is located.
