Quick tips for success

Here are some quick tips to ensure that students will succeed at the International Languages program. Students should:
  • attend class each day on time
  • use the international language as their primary means of communication during class time
  • review classroom work and complete all homework assigned
  • practice oral, reading and writing skills in the international language at home to strenghten the concepts taught during class
  • be well organized, demonstrate initiative, and work independently to gain skills which will allow them to be successful
  • be present for all evaluations including the final evaluation in order to receive their credit
Parents/guardians have a role as well in student success. They need to be aware of the attendance policy and course expectations in order to help their son/daughter succeed. Parents/guardians who can speak, read or write the international language are encouraged to reinforce and extend student learning at home.
